Funny I just built the same trailer from HF. Curious if you had the same two issues I had, first the mounting bracket for the leaf springs to only had two of the four hole lining up, had to drill two. Guess the pack the wrong rail. Next the tail lights get their ground through the mounting bracket, i.e. chassis ground. But the mounting bolts don't break through the insulating paint layer. Oh well, it's just C^3 (Cheap Chinese Crap) does the job just needs some extra hands on work:)
I was lucky and all my parts matched up and everything went together without much trouble.
Definitely not going to get a good or reliable ground through the frame. I ignored those dirrctions and spliced in and ran ground wires directly to all the lights instead. I also opted to get the led light set as the ones it came with were kinda cheesy.
